Dr. Marie Chastain

I am honored to introduce myself as Dr. Marie Chastain, newly appointed Principal of Asbury Elementary School. With deep roots in the Asbury community spanning more than 20 years, I have dedicated 15 years to our school's growth and development. My journey began in 2008 as an instructional assistant for both our high school and elementary programs. By 2012, I transitioned into teaching fourth-grade math and science before assuming the role of high school counselor in 2014. During this time, I pursued and successfully completed my doctorate in educational leadership, furthering my commitment to enhancing educational outcomes.

The opportunity to lead Asbury Elementary is a privilege I embrace wholeheartedly. My family and I, including my three daughters Alana, Nikole, and Kimbria, along with my grandson Landon, cherish the welcoming atmosphere and the exceptional individuals that define our community. We look forward to contributing to its continued growth and success.
